Hi, my name is Jacqui Hendry and I am the Sole Proprietor/Therapist at Tan-Talising.
I would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for choosing to spend your ‘precious time’ having a look around my website. There is a lot of information to process but that is because, I believe that everyone should benefit from my years of experience and share in all my knowledge.
In my opinion, it can be quite daunting welcoming a complete stranger into your home and putting so much trust in that person, whom you know nothing about. I thought it would be a nice idea to include a bit about myself and my background, so you get to know me as a person – not just a company name.
I have lived in Inverness nearly all my life and I am 31 years old. I have lived an eventful life with lots of ups and downs and I would never be where I am today, without the love and patience from my family and friends. I am very grateful for all their support and encouragement, especially throughout this past year.
When I left school I went to college and graduated with an HND in Hospitality Management. I worked at The Caledonian Hotel, The Muirtown Hotel and in the little Tesco to fund my studies. I then moved into the cut throat world of Selling Advertising for The Executive Business Magazine, but after a couple of years I realised that it just wasn’t for me. I then secured a job at Inverness Medical Ltd as a Technical Operator and left 7 years later as an Operations Trainer.
I decided to leave in 2007 so that I could concentrate on starting up My Own Business. It was such a big leap of faith; I was bringing something ‘Totally New’ to the Highland area and had to get it right 1st time.
My decision to go into MOBILE SPRAY TANNING was actually due to a passing comment by my partner Matt which soon turned into a reality. It was becoming more and more of an inconvenience each week trying to get my spray tan done in the salon due to my hectic work schedule. I then had an awful tanning experience and I had to return to the salon to get ‘patched up’ which resulted in time off work. “Isn’t there anyone that you can get to come to the house to do your tan instead?” This simple question sparked off extensive research into the world of FAKE TAN.
I received a call from Sienna-x Headquarters just over a year later and was invited to try out against 4 other candidates to be the Trainer and Consultant for the North of Scotland. This was based on the amount of excellent feedback that they had sourced from some of my clients. I headed down to Worchester in April 2009 for a very intensive week long course and I was very proud to walk away with this high regarded position.
I had firmly Established myself as a Leader within my local area!
