Frequently Asked Question's
How do I fit the wire?
Take a piece of wire out of the pack and tie 3 standard knots around one of the elastic ends. Tie the other end of the wire in 1 knot very loosely around the other elastic end - this will allow you to move the knot before tightening it. Place the wire around your head, sitting it just behind the fringe line of the hair, above the ears and under the base of your skull. Pull the wire tighter using the loosely knotted end until the wire fits snugly to the head, there is no movement but it still feels comfortable. Hold the knot in place while you carefully remove the flip-in hair from your head and tie 2 more knots in the wire. Cut off the excess wire and your hair extension is now ready to wear.
How does it work now I have fitted the wire?
Place the flip-in hair with the wire sitting behind the hair line. Gently push down to fit over the ears and sit at the base of the skull. Split the hair around the ears and use your tail comb to pull your own hair out from under the wire over your flip-in hair. To remove – grab the extension from the bottom and lift upwards. How do I wash the Flip-In Hair?
Put some warm water in the bath or sink and wet the hair by sweeping it through the water. Gently smooth over the shampoo. It is then best to gently pull or comb the shampoo through the hair before sweeping it through the water again to rinse it. Try to keep the hair as untangled as is possible. Repeat the steps above with a good conditioner. DO NOT rub the hair between both hands as this will knot the hair. Hang to dry on your flip-in hair hanger, or use hairdryer.
Can I Dye the Hair?
NO. It is recommended that you dye your own hair to match the extension if required.
What Lengths are available?
They come in 12, 16 and 20 inch straight lengths. A body wave style is available but this is only available in the 16 inch length.
Can I cut the Hair?
YES. It is recommended that you take your flip-in hair to your own hairdresser to be cut into your desired shape so that it looks more natural and part of your own hair.
Why don’t you have a colour chart?
I do not have a colour chart available on my website due to the following reasons: The colours that may be displayed could have a variance due to photography lighting. Your computer monitor set up and resolution may show the colours differently than what I have uploaded.
Meeting with me in person and colour matching your hair with the colour ring is the best option!
